You are invited to the 2019 NZARO expo to be held at the RDA indoor centre, County Lane in Silverstream Upper Hutt.

The venue has off-road parking and onsite self-contained camping and is a short walk away from the renowned Riverside walkway which stretches for many km from the hills to the ocean! It is also across the road from a golfing venue and close to amenities from supermarkets to restaurants at Silverstream.

The surface in the venue is a sand/rubber mix. There is a grandstand for sitting in (bring a cushion for your bottom) and dogs can be left crated in the stabling area behind the grandstand seating. Toilet and catering facilities on site are of a very high standard.

On offer is 3 Zoom, 3 Handy dog and 1 Rally events, at all levels. Plus our usual awesome ribbons, certificates for qualifiers and many spot prizes. AGM and  free dinner will be available after the last class on Saturday. We have invited Lyn Clearwater from Dunedin to judge for us – she is vastly experienced RallyO judge at both DogsNZ and NZARO level, and we look forward to having her with us for the weekend.

You can enter online at a cost of $4 per class by clicking on the link below. Payment must be made by July 1st. This offer is valid only for NZARO members and only for pre-entry/prepaid.

We hope to see you in July.

PS. If you have Title certificates to be awarded please send the application form in now, so we can present them at Expo. Also let me know if you have any outstanding certificates so we can also make sure we have them for you.

NZARO Expo 2018 was run at the Feilding RDA in Awahuri Road.

It was great to have such a lovely indoor evenue, especially on Sunday when there was quite a bit of rain overnight and a bit during the day as well!

Big thanks to Judges:- Sheelah Stevens, Mike Butler, Robyn Fargher, Bev Thomson, Karen de Wit, Linda Guiness, and Ann McSweeney and Peter de Wit on results with Robyn and introduction of the REM software which made things a lot easier.

We had a great turnout of competitors on Saturday - the car park was full!!

New signs were introduced, demonstrated and discussed  at the end of Saturday, and the committee will finalise these over the next month.

AGM was held (with Pizza) at conclusion of events Saturday. Report available click here.
